Lee Parker Head of Business Growth

Would you like to introduce yourself…

‘My name is Lee and I am closer to 40 than I would like to be, married to my best friend, and have 2 gorgeous twin girls and two fantastic sons. Originally from Birmingham but crossed the border to Staffordshire when I met my wife. I have two pet dogs and love to travel around the world, but Rhodes will always be my favourite place.’

What has your previous experience been?

‘I have been gearing up for this role without realising it since the age of 18. I have worked in logistics for 14 years has taught me some valuable skills in problem-solving, management, budgets, account management, lean techniques, and priorities to name a few. I took the skills with me into sales and it has set me off on the journey I am still on today. For the last few years, I have been working in the management team of a tax specialist company bringing in new clients and account management.’

What do you plan to accomplish in your new role?

‘I have put forward an ambitious business plan which involves bringing a new portfolio of products to the team along with growing a new team underneath me whilst still achieving growth within the business.’

What are you looking forward to the most?

‘Creating a portfolio of new products to add to CARS as a whole. The team has the expertise, knowledge, and more importantly the drive and ambition to jump towards a new audience and market.’

What attracted you to CARS?

‘CARS has been on my radar for a while now and I have briefly worked with them in the past, all you hear about CARS is how professional and diligently they work with not just clients but also the team as a whole. They are an evolving business who listen to the team around them for ideas and input but also stay ahead within the market.’

How do you most like to spend your time outside of work?

‘I don’t like relaxing very much, so I will always be doing something around the house or making the most of life and creating wonderful memories with my family.’

Have you got a favourite life motto?

‘So many that I stick by, it is hard to narrow it down. The two I use most are, ‘nothing is a waste of time if you have learned something’ and ‘vision without action is just a daydream.’

Thanks Lee. It’s great to have you on board and we are looking forward to seeing what you accomplish!

We have big plans for the future of CARS and we will keep you up to date on what we are up to!
