The Beginning of CARS…

Where it all Began

CARS started when Paul identified an opportunity in the market for a capital allowance consultancy. What started as a chance encounter in a bar led Paul to realise the potential of a tax product that was largely misunderstood. Seizing the opportunity, he built the firm from the ground up. Eventually, his son Chris Roberts joined. Chris is now the Managing Director and has contributed greatly to the development and growth of the company. With a dedicated team of experts, the company has grown into a trusted consultancy firm, becoming a leader in the field.

Paul, what have you enjoyed the most about this journey?

“It’s been satisfying to start something from scratch and see it develop into a well-thought-of specialist provider in the industry. What started as a one-man band very quickly progressed into something greater than I could have imagined and it’s a journey I have enjoyed and been proud of.”

The building of a trusted capital allowance consultancy firm

Will this be the last we see of Paul?

“Most definitely not, we wouldn’t be able to keep him away if we tried! Paul will continue to be a consultant for CARS. His knowledge and skill to be able to explain capital allowance legislation simply is something we value and would like to keep hold of. We have some CPD training sessions planned that Paul will be presenting, so you will still see Paul around.”

Chris Roberts Managing director

The team would like to say a huge thank you to Paul for all his hard work in creating a company we can be proud to work for and wish him all the best for the next new chapter of his life.
